S. Mark McNeill, MD, FAAFP
Dr. McNeill grew up in Raeford, NC. After graduating from Appalachian State University, he received his M.D. from Brody School of Medicine at East Carolina University. He completed his residency in Family Medicine at MAHEC in Asheville. After residency, he worked as a General Practitioner for a year in New Zealand. He then settled back in the Asheville area with his wife, Shelley, to practice Family Medicine.
He is board certified in Family Medicine and enjoys patients of all ages. His special interests include sports medicine, geriatrics, and health information technology. In his free time, Dr. McNeill enjoys birding, tennis, cooking, and e-biking to work.

Hannah Marie Roberts, MD
Dr. Roberts attended Davidson College and received her M.D. from Wake Forest School of Medicine. She completed her residency in Family Medicine at MAHEC in Asheville. She is board certified in Family Medicine and enjoys working with patients in all walks of life. She has particular interests in women’s health, pediatric and adolescent medicine, and chronic disease management.
Dr. Roberts is originally from Western North Carolina and now lives in Black Mountain with her husband and two children. She and her family feel lucky to call these mountains home! Outside of medicine, she finds joy in the outdoors, gardening with her husband, playing with her children, trail running, yoga, and baking bread.

Julie Midkiff, PA-C
Julie grew up in Midway, NC, and received her Physician Assistant degree from University of Iowa and is board-certified. She worked in family practice offices in Charlottesville, VA and Kentucky before settling in Black Mountain with her husband and two energetic boys. She enjoys traveling, hiking, and spending time with her family. She helps out Trillium on Fridays and during physician conferences and vacations!
