Dr. McNeill presented a lecture called "What Makes Patients Click? Portal Based Opportunities for Patients to Help Themselves (And You)!" at the eClinicalWorks National Users Conference in Nashville, TN in October 2018.

The East Carolina University alumni magazine, East Magazine, included Dr. McNeill in an article about Brody physicians staying in NC to practice medicine, You know an ECU doctor. They profiled his innovative practice model.

Dr. McNeill presented a lecture called "Patient Portals: Mythbusters" at the national American Academy of Family Physicians "Family Medicine Experience (FMX)" conference in Orlando, FL in September 2016.

The journal, Family Practice Management, published an article by Dr. McNeill in their March/April 2016 issue titled Lower Your Overhead with a Patient Portal. He discusses the benefits to both the physician and patient of using the portal for secure messaging, real-time electronic scheduling, and patient engagement.
